2023 Fall - Mediumship Demonstration - "Sunday With Spirit"
These five trained Spiritualist Mediums captivated the audience with their heartfelt and surprising messages from those who have passed. Their decades of experience and training shone through as they delivered evidential messages that brought joy and peace to both the recipients and the audience. This sold out afternoon event was filled with fun, delight and touching moments as everyone witnessed this profound connection with spirit.

Reverend Nicole Powell
Two Worlds' Reverend is a fully ordained spiritualist Minister who has been working professionally in her full-
time practice and business since 2012. Born naturally intuitive, her gifts got a boost during her three years of Integrative Energy Healing training at Langara College . That along with her own personal experiences of grief and health 'cracked her open' and led her along the path to becoming the professional Spiritualist Medium and Reverend she is now.
Nicole is dedicated to advancing her abilities and staying innovative in her offerings and to facilitate that she has studied numerous times at mediumship schools including the world-renowned Arthur Findlay College in Essex, England, and De Zwanenhof in Holland. Nicole is not only also most inviting and warm, her connection allows her to bring some startlingly accurate and specific messages through, and it is a delight to experience! Nicole calls Lake Cowichan home and offers her professional services in person and online from there.
Reverend Carol Spencer
Reverend Carol has spent many years in the study of spiritualism, and is now both a masterful medium and spiritual healer training others in the field. Beginning with her innate gifts of mediumship, clairvoyance and healing Carol was driven to develop them further through her personal experiences of messages from her father received at a seance, and in overcoming cancer.
She has done advanced studies at the prestigious Arthur Findlay College in Stansted, England, as well as training with innumerable guides and now works fulltime as a professional healer, medium and trainer. She is also a fully ordained Spiritualist Minister ( since 2003!) and one of Two Worlds favourite guest mediums, Carol lives and runs her business from Saltspring Island.
Lana Ryan
Born and raised in the Cowichan Valley, Lana was introduced to many religions and beliefs beginning when she was quite young, recognizing her own intuition by age seven. Her exposure to various belief systems ignited her curiosity, which led her into a Spiritualist church more than 20 years ago.
A paramedic for the last 14 years, Lana infuses Spirituality into everything she does. For the last decade, she has been honing her skills and abilities under the guidance of many highly accomplished mentors . Most recently, Lana attended advanced mediumship studies at Arthur Findlay College in Stansted, England. Her gentle ,kind and empathic manner comes through in her mediumship too - bringing not only soothing and peace to those for whom she is able to provide a message, but leaving them with a smile. A proud member of Cowichan Tribes, Lana makes her home in Duncan, BC.
Lee Shanks
Despite being a natural born medium, Lee refused to acknowledge or understand her psychic and mediumship abilities until later in life. Once she did, she jumped in with both feet, taking several courses through well-known Canadian mediums , sitting in very high level "development" circles, mentoring with professionals around the globe, and most recently, completing advanced mediumship and trance healing training at the prestigious Arthur Findlay Spiritualist College in England. Lee is also a real joy to have on the stage and her infectious love of life shines through in her humour and desire to really help others by explaining not only what the message is, but what is prompting her to say that. If you are curious to know how mediums are able to share the messages from your loved ones, don't miss Lee as she does a great job of explaining WHY she is saying what she is. Lee works as a professional spiritual medium (both online and in person) from her home in Shawnigan Lake.
Arlene Mills
Arlene hails from the Northwest Territories and is a proud member of the Métis Nation. She strongly believes that “Love, like life, never dies” and that those in Spirit World want—and need—to communicate with us, and that they remain close to us and watch over us. As a trained medium, Arlene is a confident and engaging conduit to those ones in the Spirit World.
Alrene's journey to mediumship had a rocky start. After losing her beloved brother to an accident her life started to unravel. Arlene didn’t believe in life after death back then, so when her brother died she felt he was gone forever, and felt lost without him.
But before he passed Arlene had always travelled a lot for work and pleasure, and eventually took that back up. One day, while waiting for a flight in an airport bookstore she was drawn to a book on spirituality ( she describes it as shouting “Buy me!” ). This changed her life and not only sparked her interest in the concept of life after death but it opened her up to the world of mediumship.
After absorbing all she could through books and training on her own she moved to Victoria BC. to deepen and continue her mediumshio journey. As these things tend to happen she then received an amazing reading from a well-known, gifted and trained medium from the United Kingdom, and Arlene was inspired to pursue professional mediumship training throughout the world.
Her journeys took her to Australia, the USA, across Canada, and to the world-famous Arthur Findlay College (AFC) in the United Kingdom. As well , Arlene has travelled to England , Australia and the USA to study with Mavis Pittilla - the woman who sparked Arlene's professional mediumship journey with her reading back in Victoria many years ago.
Arlene is passionate about bringing the light into other's lives that she felt when she was introduced to the knowledge that life continues for our loved ones in the spirit world . Arlene is thrilled to join us for this event and to pass on those life changing messages , and to re-iterate “Love, like life, never dies”. Arlene works as a professional spiritual medium and intuitive (both online and in person) from Victoria BC .

2023 Fall Workshop - The Natural Medium
One Day Intermediate Mediumship Development Workshop - Led by Minister Rev. Nicole Powell with assistance from Lana Ryan.
Reverend Nicole had recently returned from the Arthur Findlay College of Psychic Science in England and brought the energy and inspiration from her time at that prestigious College to the entire day. Lana Ryan , also a student at Arthur Findlay College , board member of Two Worlds and a frequent medium at Two Worlds contributed her calm and encouraging presence.
The goal of the workshop was to help students enhance their natural mediumistic abilities. With Nicole's guidance everyone was able to enhance their ability to link with the spirit world, and to develop their ability to unfold evidence to know for certain who they had, and from that to be able to delve deeper into what spirit was there to convey to the living person receiving the message.
The format: After concise instructions the students worked with partners or in small groups to gain practical experience, while being encouraged to go beyond their current limits and comfort zone. The day also featured powerful group meditations led by Nicole, and a chance for some to practice delivering messages "from the platform" as mediums do at our services, and a clearing from Lana using her traditional Indigenous methods .
Nicole loves to teach and is passionate about helping those who strive to deepen their relationship with the spirit world. This was evident throughout the day with her non-judgmental and very encouraging manner, which inspired even very well established mediums in attendance to try new things. With plenty of time for questions and answers, it was a great blend of training and practice.

This Workshop was well paced and allowed everyone a chance to refresh and enhance their abilities with new people and a new environment - the gorgeous Bethleham Centre in Nanaimo ( Thank-you Elizabeth for securing this most beautiful and suitable setting).
With 18 participants it was an intimate workshop that provided lots of chances for learning and practice . Beginning with a calming and clearing meditation from Lana to start, it proved to be a fun-filled day of discovering new skills and techniques, and meeting many new people with some extraordinary skills in mediumship. It was so gratifying to see the growth of mediumship here on Vancouver Island and have the opportunity to have a day devoted to practicing that skill and gift.
